The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has withdrawn its membership of the Federation of Registered Nollywood Guilds and Associations (FRENGAN).
In a letter addressed to the leadership of FREGAN, AGN National President, Emeka Rollas, said the decision was reached after careful consideration of suggestions and opinions expressed by the guild’s members and stakeholders.Â

Mr Rollas assured that the AGN will continue to uphold fair contractual practices and a regulatory environment to improve the livelihoods of its members whilst making the future of the industry more sustainable.
FRENGAN is the umbrella body of all registered guilds in Nigeria’s film industry, with the Association of Movie Producers (AMP) and Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN) as some of its members.
