More than 100 aid organisations, including Oxfam, Médecins Sans Frontières and Care, have accused Israel of obstructing life-saving deliveries to Gaza by imposing new registration rules.
The measures, introduced in March, require groups to submit donor and staff lists for vetting — a move critics say endangers workers and censors humanitarian advocacy. The organisations claim the policy has left millions of dollars’ worth of food, medicine and shelter stranded in Jordan and Egypt, with 60 aid requests rejected in July alone.

Israel denies the allegations, saying aid channels are exploited by Hamas. The dispute comes as Gaza’s health authority reports continued deaths from malnutrition and famine risk, while Israeli ministers push for expanded West Bank settlements — moves seen by much of the international community as undermining hopes for a Palestinian state.
