Air Marshal Aneke Rallies Commanders to Intensify Strikes Against Terrorists and Armed Gangs

Nigeria’s Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, has ordered all Air Component Commanders to intensify precision strikes against terrorists, insurgents, and armed gangs across the country. The directive came during a meeting of senior commanders from all theatres of operation, from Zamfara’s forests to the Niger Delta’s creeks.

Air Marshal Aneke urged the officers to “fly smarter and strike harder,” stressing that the evolving threats require agility, intelligence-led missions, and close coordination with land and naval forces. He reaffirmed that every sortie must reflect professionalism, purpose, and patriotism.
