Super Falcons captain Rashidat Ajibade says the team’s mental strength and game-by-game strategy helped secure a 2-1 win over defending champions South Africa in their Women’s Africa Cup of Nations semi-final clash in Morocco.
Ajibade, who was named Woman of the Match, said Nigeria’s long-standing rivalry with South Africa since 1998 has always demanded psychological readiness, adding that each match has required a tailored tactical approach.
