On October 16, 2024, the All-Share Index took a downturn, losing 249.40 points to close at 98,291.53, falling below its opening value. This is a 0.25% drop from the previous day’s close of 98,540.93.
Further dampening investor sentiment, trading volume also saw a decline, with only 257 million shares changing hands, a 10% reduction compared to the 286 million shares traded the previous day.
