Abia Warriors forward, Antoine Desouza, has been crowned the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Player of the Month for February.
Desouza outshone Kingsley Maduforo of Rangers, Sikiru Alimi of Remo Stars, Bello Lukman of Katsina United, Kayode Oke of Bendel Insurance, and Ubong Friday of Rivers United to clinch the award.
The striker netted three goals in four league matches for Abia Warriors during the month.

Meanwhile, Bendel Insurance’s Greg Ikhenoba claimed the Manager of the Month award after guiding his side to five wins, one draw, and one loss in seven outings.
Ikhenoba’s side will aim to continue their impressive run when they face Abia Warriors on Sunday.
