The All Progressives Congress has ratified the outcome of its Anambra governorship primary, confirming Nicholas Ukachukwu as its flagbearer for the 8 November election.
In a statement, National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka described the exercise as fair, credible, and transparent, urging aspirants and their supporters to rally behind Ukachukwu for the party’s success at the polls.

The primary, which commenced on Saturday, concluded with Ukachukwu securing 1,455 votes, well ahead of Valentine Ozigbo, who polled 67. Johnbosco Onunkwo received 26 votes, while Edozie Madu got eight.
The results were formally announced by Cross River State Governor, Senator Bassey Otu, who chaired the party’s electoral committee.
There were 26 invalid ballots recorded.
