APC responds to Kwankwaso’s comments over Kano Emirship tussle

The national spokesperson of the APC, Felix Morka, in a statement on Tuesday, said comments by Rabiu Kwankwaso, presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the 2023 elections, about the emirship tussle in Kano state are “grossly insensitive”.

Kwankwaso had accused the federal government of compromising security in Kano asserting that the people of Kano would resist any attempt to undermine the constituted authority in the state.

Morka said it is disturbing that Kwankwaso would make such allegations, adding that President Bola Tinubu is a bridge builder for peace, security, and unity and must not be tainted with “flimsy and unjustifiable allegations”.
