The House of Representatives has confirmed the appointments of the Service Chiefs recently announced by President Bola Tinubu.
The confirmation was done during the plenary session on Wednesday after Honourable Babajimi Benson, a lawmaker from Lagos, presented a report on the matter.
The confirmed officers are Major General Christopher Musa as the Chief of Defence Staff; Major General Taoreed Lagbaja as the Chief of Army Staff; Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, the Chief of Naval Staff; and Air Vice Marshall Hassan Abubakar, as the Chief of Air Staff.

Recall that last week, President Tinubu wrote to the National Assembly, seeking confirmation of the security chiefs.
The Senate confirmed their appointment last Thursday.
