Army Reads Riot Act To Bandits In Imo As New Commander Assumes Office

Brigadier General Usman Lawal, the new commander of the Nigerian Army 34 Artillery Brigade Obinze in Imo State has read the riot act to armed actors in the state.

Brigadier-General Lawal takes over the command from Brigadier General Sani Suleiman who served in that position for 16 months.

The new Commander vowed to go after those who have been disturbing the peace and flush them out of their hideouts.

He assured residents that the activities of the perpetrators will be brought to the barest minimum, so they can go about their legitimate business peacefully.

The Nigerian Army 34 Artillery Brigade, in collaboration with other security agencies in the state, has been at the forefront of combating insecurity in the state.
