At least 48 people have died after flooding caused by heavy rains struck the Gamo area of southern Ethiopia.
Police in the South Ethiopia Regional State say the bodies were recovered from three districts in the Gamo Zone following the natural disaster.
Authorities say 95 people are still missing, with rescue operations continuing. It remains unclear whether the missing figure includes those already confirmed dead.
