Blessing CEO Hits Back at Critics, Urges Nigerians to Heal from Emotional Trauma

Controversial relationship therapist Blessing Okoro, widely known as Blessing CEO, has responded to those anticipating the collapse of her relationship with auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna, also known as IVD.

In a video shared on Instagram, she addressed growing online criticism, suggesting many of her detractors are projecting unresolved emotional wounds. She argued that repeated exposure to failed relationships—especially among public figures—has made people suspicious of genuine affection.

Blessing maintained that conflict is a normal part of any relationship and that lasting love is built on the willingness to forgive and grow.

She urged critics to stop generalising heartbreak and instead take lessons from past pain, warning that fear of vulnerability could block future happiness.

The therapist, who is preparing for marriage, said many now view healthy love as unrealistic due to emotional scars and social media cynicism.
