Boniface’s Market Value Halved After Difficult Spell

Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has seen his market value slashed by half, according to the latest Transfermarkt update. Once valued at €40 million, the forward is now worth €20 million following a disappointing run for both club and country.

Boniface’s decline began after a failed medical scuppered his proposed move to AC Milan. Now on loan at Werder Bremen, he is yet to score for the Bundesliga side.

His international prospects have also dimmed under coach Eric Chelle, who omitted him from recent World Cup qualifiers. Nigeria, having missed automatic qualification, now prepare for a decisive playoff against Gabon next month.

Other Nigerian Bundesliga players – Nathan Tella, Felix Agu, Jordan Torunarigha, and Kevin Akpoguma – retained their market values.
