Brent Crude Surges Above $81 Amid Fresh U.S. Sanctions on Russian Oil

Brent crude oil climbed to over $81 per barrel on Monday, marking its highest level in more than four months, as the global market reacted to the latest wave of U.S. sanctions targeting Russia’s oil sector.

The sanctions, announced on Friday, have prompted emergency meetings among major oil buyers in India and China, who are assessing the potential impact on supply chains.
