Former Super Eagles striker Brown Ideye sealed a crucial victory for Enyimba, scoring the decisive goal in their 2-1 triumph over Nasarawa United in a Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, clash on Wednesday.
The Aba-based side took the lead in first-half stoppage time, courtesy of Joseph Atule. However, the visitors fought back, with Anas Yusuf equalising in the 58th minute.

Ideye, introduced as a substitute, restored Enyimba’s advantage just four minutes later, netting his second goal in three matches for the club.
The victory ends Enyimba’s seven-match winless run in the league, lifting them to seventh place with 27 points. Meanwhile, Nasarawa United remain rooted to the bottom of the table after the defeat.
