The Confederation of African Football and the Local Organising Committee for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco have announced that fans travelling for the tournament will be eligible for free electronic visas. CAF said supporters from countries that normally require a visa to enter Morocco can now apply at no cost through the YALLA app.
The football body explained that both the Fan ID and e-visa applications can be completed within the YALLA platform, which is mandatory for access to stadiums and official fan zones. It added that the process is designed to provide a faster and more secure experience for international visitors and local fans.
CAF said the initiative comes as global demand grows for the event, with 298,000 tickets already sold in the first two phases to buyers across 33 African countries and 106 nations worldwide. The highest demand so far has come from Morocco, France, Belgium and the Netherlands.
