Central Bank of Nigeria sets new USSD service charge

The cost of carrying out unstructured supplementary service data, USSD transactions in the country will be 6 Naira, 98 Kobo per transaction. That’s the resolution reached by Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) and Deposit Money Banks (DMBs). This is contained in a joint statement issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) yesterday, the new charge provides customers with a cheaper average cost.
