The Centre for Socio-Legal Studies (CSLS) has urged the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) to expedite the adoption of electronic processes in courts to address delays caused by the continued reliance on manual practices. The call was made by Professor Yemi Akinseye-George, SAN, during a capacity-building workshop for ACJA Rangers in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and seven focal states under the RoLAC/IIDEA Project.
Themed “National Minimum Standards for the Effective Implementation of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act 2015 and ACJLs of the States,” the workshop aims to enhance understanding of justice reforms and improve efficiency in criminal justice systems.
