Chelsea Football Club has announced the appointment of Liam Rosenior as its new head coach. The club said on Tuesday that Rosenior has signed a six-year contract, keeping him at the English Premier League side until 2032.
Rosenior, 41, played in the Premier League before turning to management. He has spent the past two years as manager of French Ligue 1 side Strasbourg. In a statement, he said he was honoured to lead Chelsea and vowed to maintain the club’s winning culture.
Speaking to the club’s media team, Rosenior said he would focus on teamwork, unity, and developing the squad’s young players. He described Chelsea’s current pool of players as “extremely talented” and expressed his commitment to bringing success at the highest level.
