Nigerian shot-stopper Chiamaka Nnadozie has clinched the coveted CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year title for the second year running.

The accolade was awarded on Monday during a glittering ceremony at the Palais des Congrès in Marrakech, Morocco, a fitting stage for Africa’s finest football talents.

Her standout performances for Paris FC in France’s Division 1 Féminine proved pivotal. Nnadozie not only secured the league’s Goalkeeper of the Season award for the 2023/24 campaign but also posted a remarkable 33% clean sheet record. Her heroics helped Paris FC secure an impressive third-place finish.

On the international front, the Super Falcons star was equally commanding. Her displays at the Paris Olympic Games further cemented her status as one of Africa’s most reliable custodians, earning widespread praise for her composure and consistency under pressure.

This latest honour underscores Nnadozie’s growing influence in women’s football, both on the continent and beyond.
