Citizen Jones Debuts on Radio Now 95.3 FM Lagos

We are honoured to welcome Citizen Jones to the Radio Now Family. Airing on Mondays through to Thursdays at 9AM, Citizen Jones will provide the most in-depth analysis and discussions on Nigeria society and it’s polity, cracking open the hardest issues in Nigeria. With his crew of associates, Citizen Jones will provide an objective and fact based analysis of the most important and most Nigerian of issues.

Born on April 4, 1950 in Lagos, Citizen Jones Usen schooled in Lagos, and joined the Old NBC (Nigeria Broadcasting Corporation), in 1974 after a 10 week Basic Announcer Course, subsequently being named Announcer of the year in 1980.



Citizen Jones has worked with many radio and television stations over the years, including Old RN2 Lagos, (45 Martins Street, Lagos), Ray Power FM, Capital FM Abuja, Co-anchored NTA Network Program, “One on One”, Joined CBS, Owners of TVC and Max FM, and was named Broadcaster of the Year 2013 by NMMA. Have been in active service for 46 years. He is a husband, father and grand father.

On his debut episode, Citizen Jones analyzes the underlying heroes and heroines of Nigeria, with his guests Akin Fatunke, and Gbolahan Olojede.
