The Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) has condemned recent explosions in Maiduguri, describing the attacks as a threat to national stability. The group reacted to the incident which resulted in casualties and renewed security concerns in Borno State.
The National Coordinator of CNG, Jamilu Charanchi, said the attacks highlight ongoing security challenges in the region and called for stronger measures to prevent further incidents. They urged security agencies to intensify intelligence gathering and response operations.
According to Mr Charanchi, such acts of violence undermine peace efforts and disrupt daily life in affected communities.

He called on the federal government to take decisive action to address insecurity and protect citizens. The Coordinator also urged residents to remain vigilant and cooperate with security authorities.
