Prominent comedian and actor-turned-preacher, Oluwatoyin Bayegun, widely known as Woli Arole, has voiced concerns over the state of Nigeria’s gospel music industry.
In a post on Instagram, Arole lamented what he described as the growing influence of hypocrisy, worldliness, and exclusivity within the gospel music scene. He suggested that invitations for ministration are now dictated by personal connections rather than spiritual guidance.

The preacher further observed that the distinction between gospel ministers and secular artists is becoming increasingly blurred, raising questions about the direction of the industry.
