Court Threatens To Declare Fani-Kayode Wanted in Alleged Forgery Case

The Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos has threatened to declare the former Minister of Aviation, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode, wanted if he fails to appear before it on the next adjourned date for his trial.

Justice Olubumni Abike-Fadipe noted that the last time the former Aviation Minister appeared before the court was November 4, 2022.

Mr. Fani-Kayode is standing trial on a 12-count charge bordering on the use of false documents and fabricated evidence, procuring the execution of documents by false pretense and fabricating evidence.
