Afrobeats singer, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has called on Nigerian politicians to implement more effective measures to address hardship and poor governance in the country, rather than just providing temporary relief.
While speaking on ‘The Breakfast Club’ recently, the calm-down crooner lambasted politicians for consistently resorting to giving people rice as opposed to creating an enabling environment for people to thrive.Â

The singer also revealed that he had been advising the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, on some of his policies whenever they met.
