Cristiano Ronaldo leads long-time rival Lionel Messi in non-penalty goals for club and country after scoring in Al-Nassr’s 2-1 win against Al-Fateh in the Saudi Pro League.
The Portugal captain opened the scoring 17 minutes into the match against Al-Fateh, but Salem Al Najdi drew level for Al-Fateh 12 minutes later.

Otavio’s strike in the 72nd-minute sealed the win for the hosts, placing them four points behind leaders Al-Hilal, who have a game in hand.
Ronaldo’s goal in the game sees him move up to 715 non-penalty goals for club and country, one goal ahead of Lionel Messi, who plies his trade at MLS club Inter Miami.
