Afrobeats star Davido is set to headline the official kick-off concert for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, according to an announcement by the Confederation of African Football. The concert will hold on December 20 at the OLM Souissi Fan Zone in Rabat, Morocco, a day before the tournament begins.
Davido, whose real name is David Adeleke, will perform alongside an international line-up including Moroccan-American rapper French Montana, Comorian singer Says’Z, and Moroccan artistes Douaa Lahyaoui and Lartiste. CAF said the concert is part of activities marking the opening of the continental football tournament.

The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations will feature national teams from across the continent competing for the title. Nigeria’s Super Eagles are drawn in Group C and will open their campaign against Tanzania on December 23, before facing Tunisia and Uganda.
