The Plateau State Government has condemned the attacks, describing them as a setback to security efforts in the region. Commissioner for Information, Joyce Ramnap, urged residents to remain calm, assuring that security forces have been deployed to restore order and apprehend those responsible.

Religious and community leaders have been called upon to promote peace, while residents are advised to cooperate with security agencies and report any suspicious activity. The attacks come amid lingering tensions following past deadly incidents, including the Christmas 2023 massacre that claimed about 200 lives.
