Former Nigerian international and Olympic gold medallist, Dosu Joseph, has expressed confidence that the Home Eagles will secure qualification to the knockout stages of the 2024 African Nations Championship.
Nigeria has been placed in Group D alongside Senegal, Sudan, and Congo for the tournament, which kicks off next month.

Speaking about the team’s prospects, the former Eagle predicted that Nigeria would advance ahead of their group opponents. He noted that while Senegal are former champions, there is a strong likelihood they will not field the same players who triumphed in the previous edition.
He further emphasised the quality of the Home Eagles, stating that they possess the capability to achieve maximum points in the group stage.
