Actress Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy West, has been remanded in Keffi Prison by a Dutse Magistrate following his arrest earlier in the week. Family members allege he was denied access to legal counsel and that the presiding magistrate has gone missing since his bail was filed.
His elder brother raised alarm on social media, claiming Sammy was taken from Lagos to Abuja in a private jet allegedly arranged by Senator Ned Nwoko. Sammy was later heard in a video saying he had been denied contact with his lawyer and family since Monday.

Regina Daniels, currently estranged from Senator Nwoko, accused him of using the arrest to pressure her into rehabilitation after publicly accusing him of domestic violence and countering his claims of substance abuse.
