Nigeria’s women’s national basketball team, D’Tigress, will have adequate preparation ahead of the summer Olympic games in Paris. This is according to the head of the basketball federation in the country.
Speaking in Abuja ahead of its board meeting on Monday, the President of the Nigeria Basketball Federation, NBBF, Musa Kida, said there would be three phases to its camping strategy, with a preparation camp in Nigeria to Ghana with the pool that are home-based.

The second camp will be in the US for the people who play in the US and that part of the world. The last part of the camp, he adds, would be for the selected team.
D’Tigress secured qualification for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris in a qualifier in February. The 2024 Olympic Games will be held in the city of Paris between July and August 2024.
