EFCC Arrests 37 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Kwara

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 37 individuals suspected of internet fraud in various parts of Kwara State within a week.  

A statement from the commission’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, said the latest operation on 26 March led to the arrest of 15 suspects in the Tanke Oke-Odo area of Ilorin.

An earlier raid on 22 March saw 22 more suspects detained at locations including Tanke, Alao Farm Estate, Yidi Road, and Irewolede.  

The EFCC stated that the suspects would face prosecution once investigations are concluded.
