The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has re-arraigned Mamman Ali, son of former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairman Ahmadu Ali, on charges linked to a ₦2.2 billion oil subsidy fraud.
Ali appeared before the Special Offences Court in Ikeja, Lagos, on Wednesday, alongside Christian Taylor and Nasaman Oil Services Limited. The trio faced an amended 57-count charge before Justice Mojisola Dada.

They had previously been arraigned on a 49-count charge, which included conspiracy, obtaining money under false pretences, forgery, and the use of fraudulent documents—offences under the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act 2006 and Lagos State’s criminal code.
The court has adjourned proceedings until 15 April for the adoption of final written addresses.
