The Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) says reduced power supply in Lagos is due to a fault on the 330kV transmission lines feeding the region.
In a statement on Monday, EKEDC explained that the reduced power allocation from the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has led to load-shedding across its network.

The company assured customers that efforts are underway to restore normal supply in collaboration with TCN and other stakeholders. However, no timeline was given for full restoration.
This comes after residents of Lagos experienced poor power supply since last week.
