Eko Electricity Distribution Company has confirmed Rekhiat Momoh as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. Momoh, who has served as Acting CEO since March 2024, succeeds Tinuade Sanda, who was redeployed to WPG Limited, the firm’s core investor.
With nearly three decades of experience in Nigeria’s power sector, Momoh has worked with National Electric Power Authority, NEPA, Power Holding Company of Nigeria, PHCN, and Eko Disco, where she held senior roles in commercial operations, marketing, and distribution management. Her leadership previously saw Eko Disco reduce technical and commercial losses from 32.78% to 26.82%.

A Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria and the Nigerian Institute of Management, Momoh holds an MBA from Lagos State University and hails from Edo State.
