Former Inter Milan striker Nicola Ventola has described Ademola Lookman’s failed transfer to the San Siro as an injustice, suggesting the Nigerian forward was let down by unfulfilled promises.
Speaking to Spanish sports media house, Viva el Futbol, Ventola said Lookman’s situation reflected two years of broken assurances, though he later clarified that his remarks were merely personal opinion.

Lookman, 27, had reportedly agreed personal terms with Inter Milan during the summer, but Atalanta refused several offers, including a €45 million bid, insisting on a €50 million valuation. The stalemate led the player to submit a transfer request and skip training sessions in protest.
Following the breakdown of talks, Lookman was reintegrated into the Atalanta squad and has since featured in both Serie A and the UEFA Champions League.
