The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has launched an investigation into an incident involving Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as K1 De Ultimate, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. The dispute occurred on Tuesday as passengers boarded a Lagos-bound ValueJet flight.
FAAN said the musician attempted to board with a flask containing alcohol, defying repeated warnings from security personnel and the flight captain. During the altercation, the contents were allegedly spilled on an airline security officer, prompting further disruption onboard.

The agency added that the singer resisted security directives and refused to vacate the front of the aircraft until he was escorted away. FAAN has stressed that violations of aviation safety standards will not be tolerated, regardless of the persons involved.
In response to the incident, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority has suspended two ValueJet pilots linked to the episode, citing a serious breach of safety protocols.
