Airports around the country will see a boost in security following the abduction of at least 11 people at the Kaduna airport on the 6th of March. This is according to the Managing Director of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, Captain Rabiu Yadudu, who said this when the Senate Committee on Aviation visited the agency.

Reports out of Kaduna say two houses were attacked when gunmen broke into the quarters near the Kaduna airport. 11 people, including the entire family of a staff of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), were kidnapped.
