The government is targeting a crude oil production milestone of three million barrels per day by 2025, according to Heineken Lokpobiri, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources – Oil.
Speaking in Port Harcourt on Monday, Mr. Lokpobiri lauded the success of Operation Delta Sanity, OPDS, an anti-oil theft initiative led by the Nigerian Navy. He noted that the programme, launched in January, has already bolstered output figures, prompting the rollout of a second phase.
