Omotayo Sanusi, the estranged wife of actor Femi Adebayo, has accused him of deploying about twenty armed security operatives to evict her from her restaurant, Iyanaladuke. The allegation followed the circulation of a video showing armed police officers at the premises, after which the restaurant was temporarily shut.
A family member of the actor, Taiwo Abdulmalik, said the property was acquired by Mr Adebayo through a bank loan and later foreclosed by the bank due to repayment issues. She added that after the foreclosure, Mr Adebayo provided temporary accommodation for Ms Sanusi’s family and staff.

In a now deleted social media post, Ms Sanusi rejected that account, describing the eviction as an attempt to disgrace her. She questioned the use of armed officers, alleged that her mother was manhandled during the operation, and said she had remained silent largely for the sake of their son. Mr Adebayo has not publicly responded to the latest claims.
