Twenty people have been shortlisted as candidates for the position of a new and substantive Accountant-General of the Federation (AGF).
A circular released by the Federal Government shows that the prospective candidates who were shortlisted were drawn from different ministries, departments, and agencies
The twenty persons are expected to undergo an accreditation process at the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation in Abuja, beginning today, Monday 9th till Wednesday, January 11th.
The candidates are looking to succeed Ahmed Idris, the former AGF, who was suspended by the Minister of Finance after the EFCC arrested him in a fraud investigation.
