Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have booked their place in the final of the WAFU Zone B U20 Boys Cup, edging out Niger Republic 4-3 on penalties after a tense goalless draw in regulation time.
Nigeria controlled possession for much of the match but struggled to convert their dominance into goals. Divine Oliseh missed a key opportunity in the first half, while goalkeeper Ebenezer Harcourt made a crucial save to deny Niger from close range.

Despite continued pressure in the second half, the Flying Eagles were repeatedly frustrated by a disciplined Nigerien defence. Oliseh came close again late on, but his effort drifted just wide.
With no breakthrough after 90 minutes, penalties followed. Harcourt emerged the hero, saving one of Niger’s spot-kicks and earning Player of the Match honours.
Nigeria will face either Ghana or Ivory Coast in the final as they push for regional glory.
