A fatal road accident along the Agaie-Lapai Road in Niger State has claimed four lives and left 13 others injured. The crash, which occurred near Al’Farma International School in Agaie Local Government Area, involved a head-on collision of three trailer trucks, including one carrying livestock.
The Director General of the Niger State Emergency Management Agency, NSEMA, Abdullahi Baba-Arah, attributed the accident to wrong overtaking. Two people died instantly, while others succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. About 15 cattle and more than 20 goats also perished in the crash.

Emergency responders, including NSEMA officials and local volunteers, arrived swiftly to conduct rescue operations and transport the injured to Agaie General Hospital. Authorities have urged motorists to avoid reckless driving, as investigations into the crash continue.
