Nearly a month after the ceasefire in Gaza, aid agencies warn that relief supplies remain woefully inadequate, leaving families hungry and exposed to worsening living conditions.
The UN’s World Food Programme says only half the required food has reached Gaza since mid-October, while Palestinian groups report overall aid deliveries at just a fraction of expected levels.
According to the UN humanitarian office, shelters are collapsing, fuel is scarce, and more than 60 percent of residents now cook with burning waste. WFP’s Abeer Etefa described the crisis as a “race against time,” with urgent needs for food, fuel and shelter as winter approaches.

The Norwegian Refugee Council adds that 1.5 million people remain without proper housing, with much-needed aid still awaiting clearance for delivery.
