Nigerian gospel artist Gaise Baba has submitted his inspirational track ‘No Turning Back II’, featuring Lawrence Oyor, for consideration in the Best African Music Performance category at the 2026 Grammy Awards. The announcement was made on Monday via his official social media platforms.
The song, a contemporary interpretation of the Christian hymn ‘I Have Decided to Follow Jesus’, joins a growing list of Nigerian entries for next year’s awards. Fellow artistes Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Kizz Daniel have also made submissions across several categories, including Album of the Year and Best Global Music Album.

The 68th Annual Grammy Awards will take place on February 1, 2026, in Los Angeles, where Africa’s musical influence continues to gain prominence on the world stage.
