The Kano State government has said people who invaded the State High Court during the nationwide protest, took away some of the documents connected to the corruption trial of former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.
The court was vandalised and looted by hoodlums during the #EndBadGovernance protest.
On Wednesday, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf was conducted round the court premises by the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Barrister Haruna Isah Dederi, and other judicial officers.
In a statement, the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, quoted governor Yusuf who said the vandalization is a staged-managed mission which saw suspected hirelings cart away some documents related to the corruption charges brought against the former state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje.
