Senator Abdullahi Idris Umar, a former Minister of Transportation, said the coalition aims to challenge the ruling APC and rescue Gombe from worsening socio-economic conditions. He announced plans for ward-level mobilisation across the state.

ADC State Chairman Auwal Abba Barde welcomed defectors, urging a united front for change. Key figures from PDP, APC, and other parties—including past gubernatorial aspirants—were present.
