Gov. Sani Pledges to Rescue 287 Kidnapped Students

The Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani has pledged that all the children kidnapped from Kuriga in Chikun Local Government Area will return unhurt.

The students were taken from school premises in an attack that occurred yesterday morning.

Sani Abdullahi, one of the teachers of Government Secondary School (GSS) who escaped from the terrorists, says up to 287 students and some teachers were abducted.

Meanwhile, Governor Sani says he has spoken with the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu and security forces have swung into action.

The governor promised to establish a Police Station and military camp in the community.
