Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has assured his supporters that victory is inevitable despite the ongoing political challenges in the state.  

Speaking at the commissioning of the Government House Staff Quarters at Forces Avenue in Port Harcourt, Governor Fubara declared that his administration remains committed to truth and justice. Addressing immediate past council chairmen present at the event, he reassured them that there was no cause for concern, emphasising that the struggle is about more than just winning—it is about standing for what is right.  

While reaffirming his commitment to peace, the governor stated that when the time comes, necessary decisions will be made in the best interest of Rivers State.

He urged the youth to remain patient, promising that they would receive the right direction at the appropriate time.  

Governor Fubara also pledged to complete his tenure with honour and integrity, ensuring that all his decisions remain defensible and in line with the state’s best interests.

Meanwhile, the House of Assembly has given Governor Siminalayi Fubara 48 hours to present the 2025 budget to the lawmakers for consideration.

They made this known during plenary in Port Harcourt on Monday with the motion moved by the deputy speaker Dumle Maol.
