The Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, has pledged government’s assistance for traders who suffered losses during the recent fire incident which razed Gusau central market.
The Governor’s spokesperson, Sulaiman Bala Idris, said Governor Lawal made the pledge while on a visit to the market to assess the level of the damage.

While condoling the victims, the Governor also said that the government will do everything possible to alleviate their suffering and help them recover.
Responding on behalf of the victims, the market Chairman commended the government for its prompt response following the unfortunate incident.
